Catherine has been exploring yoga since 2009 but found a deep love for Ashtanga in 2016. Catherine has had a daily practice since 2016, taking her first trip to Mysore in 2017 to practice with Saraswhati Jois at the Ashtanga Yoga Research Center. She has returned every year to deepen her practice. Catherine is also a Liver Transplant recipient, now celebrating 30 years post operation. She considers her daily practice a way of honoring the gift of Life that was bestowed upon her.
